Why We Started Next in Line

A lot of careers are shaped by one conversation.

A mentor who took the time to give advice.

A leader who shared a lesson they learned the hard way.

Someone who opened a door, offered a different perspective, or simply helped you see what was possible.

The challenge is that not everyone has access to those conversations.

For years, Cesar Jimenez has been passionate about paying it forward to the next generation of leaders. Throughout his career, he has seen firsthand how mentorship, relationships, and shared experiences can change the trajectory of someone's career.

At the same time, Karina Jimenez was building her own path as a founder, business leader, and entrepreneur. Along the way, she experienced something many professionals wish they had more access to: honest conversations with leaders who had already navigated the challenges she was facing.

Different generations. Different experiences. The same belief.

The best leaders don't keep what they've learned to themselves.

That's where Next in Line began.

But the biggest lessons rarely come from a job title.
